2. Take a Hike and Explore
The changing of seasons in Vancouver is a sure sight to behold, that being said what better way to celebrate than to go out and have yourself a bit of an adventure? It's time to take your i-phones and cameras out and capture some insta-worthy shots for your instagram feed. You may want to check out Grouse Grind if you're a serious hiker, or take it easy at Stanley park or Quarry Rock. Either way, you'll see some wickedly breathtaking views.
3. Apple Festival
Did someone say FREE apple pies? Well, count us in 'cause we ain't bout to miss out on this one! This 2 day family event is going to teach you all there is to know about one of BC's favourite fruits. From apple cider demos to tasting delicious apple pies, there's so much to do at the Apple Festival at UBC Botanical Garden.
4. Salmon Hatchery
There cannot be a better season than Autumn to visit the Capilano River Hatchery and see the Salmon Run. Catch a glimpse of this epic event that happens once in a year and admire the wonder of nature.
5. Visit a Pumpkin Patch
It's official pumpkin season and you know what that means. Get in the harvest and halloween mood by visiting a pumpkin patch in Vancouver! Grab a pumpkin, take an IG-worthy pic, make a pie out of the pumpkin, and viola- You've done October proud!
